Simple, but still classic - what you need more? This flavorful Penne Pasta is made with brown rice noodles and only seven ingredients, and pesto is a perfectly healthy and filling meal.
Perfect Penne with pesto
For 4 persons
Ingredients
- 8 ounces Brown rice gluten-free Penne pasta
- 2 cups Basil
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
Directions
Cook the pasta according to directions on the package.
In a food processor, pulse until fine ground pine nuts.
Basil, garlic, salt and pepper, and pulse until finely chopped.
Slowly pour in olive oil, as they pulsate.
Pesto in a bowl and toss with penne.
